IEEE Region 8 ROBOT CHAMPIONSHIP call for STEM educational activities

The IEEE R8 ROBOT CHAMPIONSHIP is a program aiming to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among IEEE members and the pre-university community. 

This event will take place in Malta, Europe, in Autumn 2024, and is open to students in pre-university and university communities.

All competitors need to submit two IEEE R8 Robot STEM educational activities — please check the championship's regulations.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Applications will be available from 1st December 2023 to 1st March 2024.
Submit your activities one by one.

You need to do the activities before the Robot Championship and submit the report of the event before the 1st September 2024. The event will be submitted through VTOOLS and you can keep photos or videos of your event.

WHO CAN APPLY?

All the competitor teams must apply for, at least, two activities.
External members, such as SBs, can also apply.

AWARDS:

Awards will be given to the best three initiatives under the STEM program.
1st place: 400 USD.
2nd: 300 USD.
3rd: 200 USD.

FUNDING:

You can apply for funds from PEASC committee.

(If you use those funds you must do the activities before the end of the month of November 2024)
